The Stevens Square was named after the first settler in Minneapolis, Colonial John Squares.

Elliot Park

Elliot Park is the largest neighborhood in within the central downtown Minneapolis area. This Elliot Park- Minneapolis neighborhood is home to the Hennepin County Medical Center and also the North Central University.

Loring Park

W Lyndale N-S/Hennepin Ave/S Highway 94/E Highway 35W

Loring Park was originally named Central Park. The park was changed to honor Charles Long, the first Minneapolis park system superintendent.
